Happy Cox Plate day to all. Looks a great day of racing across the country. I’ve got a few bets at Ascot that I reckon will be very hard to beat. Race 3 #3 Triple Jay Willy wins here on Triple Jay. Goes up to the 1100m after just missing last time slightly peaking on his run. Gets a great chance to go one better in a weak race. Hopefully he bounce the gates and prove too hard to beat. Keen to start the day on Triple Jay. Race 6 #9 Rusty Dreams (Best Bet) Very good horse here. She’s…

Not the most ideal of starts last week with only our best bet getting up but I’m far more confident today. I have 4 selections that I’m confident will pay us back and bring in some chocolates. Race 1 #4 Fine Touch (Best Bet) I’m with the favourite in the first and with good reason. She comes to Ascot when last seen in a 66+ race over 1600 when giving the rest of the field a nice gapping. Willy Pike sticks and from barrier 6 he’ll be able to slide over and either take up the running or sit outside…

We return to Ascot for the first time for the start of the 2023/2024 Racing season. The weather will be perfect and the track looks to be a Good 4. Expect a fast track that favours those on pace. It looks to be an interesting card to start the season off but I think I’ve found a few winners. Race 1 – #6 Live Lucky The short price favourite and deservingly so. Start your Ascot season off with a winner. Draws sticky but looks the best 2 year old at this stage. Had some barrier issues and tends to jump…

Clean up last week going 3/3 in what was a massive favourite day. We look to go well again this Saturday on the day of the inaugural Quokka slot race worth $4 million. Looks like a somewhat challenging card but I reckon I’ve got a few good things that hopefully get up for us. Race 8 #14 Amelia’s Jewel (Best Bet) – $2.90 I’m going with the star filly in the Quokka. Given the barrier debacle and ending up with 14/14, she’ll have to get back but I don’t think it’ll matter. Yes, there are some quality sprinters here but…

Easter Saturday looks like a nice card for us this week, featuring the W.A.T.C Derby which looks like a cracker of a race on paper. Last week we got mountain ash home but we look to improve this Saturday. I’ve found three best bets that look tough to beat which will hopefully salute for us. Race 1 – Snowdome (Best Bet) – $1.90 Looked a little flat here two weeks back when he never really gave a sight in the home straight. However, I think back to 1000m in a 66+ he should be very hard to beat. Draws soft…

Been a little cold over the last two weeks but I think Saturday’s Ascot meeting will hold The Mock Sports’ punters in good stead. Looks like a fantastic card, featuring the Roma Cup for our sprinters. I’m confident we’ll bounce back and grab some winners here. Three tips this weekend who’ll all be very tough to beat. Race 1 – #2 Supersession – $2.30 (BEST BET) Was an absolute horror watch when I tipped him two weeks ago. Never got clear running room in the straight and in my opinion, if he did, he would’ve gone straight past them and…

G’day, punters, we’re ready for another weekend at Ascot in what looks like a pretty tricky program. Last week we only had one winner from four which was pretty disappointing, but we were very unlucky with Supersession. We look to bounce back this week with yet again four selections that we think should get the money for The Mock Sports’ Punters. Race 2 #2 Cywer – $3.50 Does she just win again? I think so. She in no way thumped them last start but she did just enough to fall in and salute for us 2 weeks ago when beating…

G’day, punters, we’re ready for another good weekend at Ascot in what looks to be a nice program. Last week the best bet saluted, as well as a $4.20 winner. We look to improve this week with yet again four selections that we think should get the money for The Mock Sports’ Punters. Race 3 #1 Supersession $1.85 Yes, he’s very short but I think if you can get anything over $1.75 on race day it’s a good price for what’s pretty close to moral. This 3-year-old gelding for Adam Durrant looks like an absolute beast of a horse. Big…

G’Day legends, my name is Aden and I am The Mock Sports’ newest WA Racing correspondent! Each week I will be providing my best bets from the land of Western Australia and hopefully, a lot of them get over the line as the winner! Good luck and let’s get stuck in! Race 2 – Multinational – $3.70 Is a tough horse who loves to be on pace, very handy here at Ascot. He resumed 3 weeks ago at Pinjarra and won when coming off heels and proving too hard to beat when it mattered most, beating the in-form Weaponson, who’s…
